SCENARIOS

The Didactic Scenarios section features a set of comprehensive learning scenarios developed by the project partners, designed specifically for teaching of primary education students. Each scenario is meticulously crafted around the subjects of this project, providing educators with detailed information and additional content, such as external sources and proposed activity sheets to facilitate effective teaching and learning.

You can search for scenarios based on Keywords, Language, STEAM Fields, Student's Age Group and Difficulty Level and download all its files clicking in "Download Didactic Scenario" area!

Αυτή η δραστηριότητα STEAM συνδυάζει την τέχνη με τη λογοτεχνία προσκαλώντας μαθητές σε μια δημιουργική καλλιτεχνική περιπέτεια εμπνευσμένη από θρύλους, παραμύθια και μύθους. Η δραστηριότητα στοχεύει να καλλιεργήσει τη φαντασία των μαθητών, να ενισχύσει τις δεξιότητες καλλιτεχνικής έκφρασης και να τους ενθαρρύνει να μετατρέψουν τα λογοτεχνικά κείμενα σε εικαστική τέχνη. Ο στόχος αυτής της δραστηριότητας STEAM είναι να εισαγάγει τους μαθητές στην έννοια του συνδυασμού της τέχνης με τη λογοτεχνία και να τους παρέχει μια πλατφόρμα για να εξερευνήσουν τη δημιουργικότητά τους ενώ οπτικά αναπαρίστανται χαρακτήρες και σκηνές από ιστορίες με θρύλους.
Αυτή η ευχάριστη δραστηριότητα τέχνης συνδυάζει το μαγικό κόσμο του ωκεανού και της τέχνης για τους μαθητές του δημοτικού σχολείου. Συνδυάζοντας τη θαλάσσια ζωή και στοιχεία με την τέχνη, η δραστηριότητα αυτή στοχεύει στο να προωθήσει τη δημιουργικότητα και τη φαντασία των μαθητών, επιτρέποντάς τους να εξερευνήσουν την καλλιτεχνική τους έκφραση ενώ ζουν μια ευχάριστη εκπαιδευτική εμπειρία για τον ωκεανό. Ο κύριος στόχος αυτής της δραστηριότητας είναι να εξερευνήσει τη θαλάσσια ζωή και τα στοιχεία μέσω της τέχνης, να υποστηρίξει τη δημιουργικότητα και τη φαντασία των μαθητών και να τους παρέχει μια χαρούμενη εκπαιδευτική εμπειρία συνδυάζοντας την τέχνη με θέματα που σχετίζονται με τον ωκεανό.

Journey to Mars

Innovative solutions against problems that may arise during space travel You are in a team that will solve the problems that may arise during the journey on a journey to space. Teacher divides the class into 4 or 5 groups according to the number of students and distributes problem scenarios such as Designing a Spaceship, Designing an Astronaut Suit, Travelling to Mars, Designing a Solar System as 1 task for each group. It is expected to create solution scenarios as a team for the problem scenarios.It is expected that each team will propose solutions to the problem situations and will experience the design and simulation of these solutions.The problems scenarios are; 1. Spaceship Design: Although many different spaceship designs have been developed, the biggest problem of spaceships is the heating problems during take-off and landing. For this problem, design your own spaceship and explain the features of this ship. 2. Designing Astronaut Outfit: Today, technology takes its place in our clothes as in many areas. At this point, design your own astronaut suit and explain which problems that suit can offer solutions to in space. 3. Journey to Mars: The most important part of the Mars mission in space travel is the landing phase. At this point, how do you determine a safe way for the spaceship to land on Mars. Provide your design for this and test your design by putting an egg into the design you have realised from the 1st floor of your school and testing whether the egg remains stable when you throw it. 4. Solar System Design: One of the most important issues when travelling in space is navigation. At this point, design your solar system to find out which planet is where and to be able to move between planets.

Seeds and Forest

In our world, million tons of waste are left in nature as garbage. As a harmful consequence of all this, our nature and eco-system is being damaged. Our water resources, sea and ocean creatures are dying. Forest fires, environmental pollution, water pollution, being an unconscious consumer... The global climate change crisis is at the beginning of all this. 99% of this waste can be recycled. We will inform our students and parents through activities that draw attention to recycling. We will make ball of seeds for our future and our nature. We will throw these balls into nature through nature trips.

Heat Conduction

The student has just started school. He goes to school by school bus every morning and gets cold during these transfers between school and home. That's why he gets sick very often. As a solution to this problem, he wants to design a product that does not transmit heat or cold weather ; a lightweight and portable product that can be carried easily.

Who are there in the Realm i can't see?

In the existing education plan, it was determined that the existence of mould fungi, yeast fungi and parasite fungi were not known and their shapes could not be observed under a microscope. It is understood that microscopic organisms are not known to be everywhere and in large numbers, and it is not realised that there are fungi settled in our bodies. It has been realised that students and many people are not sufficiently aware of the scientific studies carried out today. It has been realised that while microorganisms are thought to cause harm, they cannot think that they also have benefits. In addition, it is known that direct learning takes place in activities carried out by doing and experiencing, and it is not easily forgotten. (Sözer, 1998) Since children in the concrete operational period can only reason about things that they have direct personal experience, our activities will provide skills such as designing experiments, critical thinking and reflective thinking.(Özdemir, O. Özdemir, P, Kadak, M. Nasıroğlu, S. (2012).

The Journey of Heat in a Matter

It was realised that the concepts of heat and temperature were confused and it was necessary to eliminate the confusion and to understand that the measured variable was temperature. It was realised that the students could not look at the events they saw in their immediate surroundings with a scientific point of view and that a scientific point of view should be gained. It was seen that they did not pay attention to the heat conduction in solids and the heat conduction in liquids and gases that they had previously observed. With this study, it has been understood that the teacher is in the role of guiding, helping and encouraging the students and supports them to reach the acquisitions at the level of analysis and synthesis and to gain scientific attitude. Ayrıca sınama yanılma, neden-sonuç ilişkileri kurma, aktif düşünme ve akıl yürütme gibi kazanımları elde etmelerini sağlayacaktır. Students are active in the lesson as learning by doing and experiencing is emphasised. Students who tend to remain passive in group work due to lack of self-confidence can be recognised and supported.

Learning about Ecosystem

Just like he/she groups the books in his/her bookshelf they also realise that they should group the living things on Earth according to where they live and include them in the appropriate ecosystem. Thus, they also realise the types of ecosystems.
